Two real comparisons show 97% and 95% WebP reductions with no noticeable visual quality loss. We examine the evidence and the plugin settings.
A compression claim becomes useful when it comes with results you can inspect. In these two photographic tests, Compressify reduced multi-megabyte files to under 200 KB while keeping their appearance practically identical in the visual comparison.

What “no quality loss” means here
In this context, it means no noticeable visual quality loss at the displayed comparison size. WebP may use lossy compression, so we are not claiming every pixel is mathematically identical. For a website, the meaningful test is whether visitors can perceive degradation at the size at which the image is actually presented.
The first scene is demanding: it contains small points of light, deep shadows, clouds, reflections, and smooth transitions. Despite the displayed 97% reduction, the Milky Way, sailboat, and reflected detail remain visually coherent.

Why the files can become so much smaller
An original photograph can contain more information than its web presentation needs. Output format, quality, and appropriate dimensions remove transfer cost without removing detail a visitor can appreciate. The output in these captures is WebP; the exact percentage will always depend on the source file.
Quality is configurable in the plugin
Compressify does not force one recipe on every site. Its WordPress settings let you adapt the process to your content and layout:

- set compression quality anywhere from 1 to 100;

Methodology and limitations
The weights and percentages above are the rounded values displayed by Compressify for these two runs. They are concrete photographic examples, not a guarantee that every image will shrink by 95% or more. An already optimized JPEG, a small PNG, or a text-heavy capture may produce a different result.
The goal is not always the highest percentage. It is the lightest file that still meets the project's visual standard.
