Compressify ("we", "our", or "us") provides an image optimization API and platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services, including our website, API, WordPress plugin, and any other integrations.

• Account Information: Email address and hashed password when you create an account.
• Billing Information: Payment details are processed and stored securely by Stripe. We never store your credit card numbers.
• API Usage Data: We track the number of images processed, file sizes, and formats for billing and analytics purposes.
• Image Data: Images uploaded for optimization are temporarily stored on our servers for processing. They are automatically deleted after processing is complete (typically within 1 hour).
• Technical Data: IP addresses, API key usage timestamps, and connected site information (domain, platform version).

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain our image optimization services.
• To process your transactions and manage your subscription.
• To enforce usage limits according to your plan.
• To communicate important service updates and security notices.
• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security threats.

4. Image Data Handling

We take image privacy seriously. Images uploaded to Compressify are:

• Processed in-memory when possible and stored temporarily on encrypted storage.
• Never shared with third parties or used for training AI/ML models.
• Automatically deleted from our servers after processing (max retention: 1 hour).
• Transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS) at all times.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS 1.2+), hashed API keys and site tokens (SHA-256), secure authentication, and regular security audits. We do not store passwords in plain text.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe: For payment processing and subscription management.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing your data.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can manage your account data through the Dashboard, or contact us to request full data deletion.
